Friday is "Spirit Day" at Preview Properties.com

September 30, 2009

“Spirit Day” = a day we celebrate our favorite collegiate football team (for those of you who might not have figured that out).

Time to get pumped about Saturday’s showdown. Show your team spirit in the office on Friday by wearing your favorite team colors. Let’s see which team is best represented in our office…

And, we’re going to do some tailgating too (the food part). Bring in your favorite tailgate food to share. If it’s one of your special recipes, bring in the recipe too. We are going to start pulling recipes together for a Preview Properties.com cookbook to be produced sometime next year. Your monetary contributions will go toward the cookbook fund. We’ll collect the $$$ by team, so we’ll have a MSU bucket…a U of M bucket…and a GDI bucket.

Couldn’t help but post the scoreboard from last year. Repeat!

Customer Service Surveys – we listened

September 30, 2009

Thanks for feedback on the customer service survey forms at Tuesday’s sales meeting. We listened. We will start including a printed customer service survey in the envelopes included in your closing package. So if you prefer for the customer to complete the survey during closing and bring it back to the office with you, you may do so. They may still complete the survey online if they wish.

Return the survey to Lisa Bohlen and your clients will be entered into the monthly drawing for a $25 restaurant card. We have distributed the following gift cards since May:

May – Scott Bohlen’s client, Steven Fudala.
June – Dick Kerschbaum’s clients, Kevin and Jennifer Dubnicki
July – no submissions
August – Robin Love’s client, Patricia Dyer
September – to be announced

Session on how to make your MLS photos look better

September 30, 2009

The good, the bad and the ugly. Could any of these photos be your listings? Kathi Presutti of ReStyle Staging found these photos being used by Realtors – in our market – while she was preparing for our training session. She has many more to share with us.

She will spend approximately 45 minutes with us on Thursday, giving us very practical tips on how we – or our photographers – can make our MLS photos look better. Things we can do TODAY to improve the marketability of our listings.

It should be a lot of fun. I encourage you – and your photographer – to attend.
